We study the impact of social policy on child and family well-being. We are particularly interested in how broadly or narrowly these policies achieve their goals. In our current research, we study whether programs to reduce housing cost burden also improve child and adult health, children’s academic outcomes, and reduce families’ contact with the child welfare system.
